Here are some Pictures from my recent trip to Thailand.
I visited the Zen Buddhist Monks in their monasteries where they meditate on a daily basis.
Their days consist of 20 hours days that start as early as 3:00 am. After Meditation
they eat, then between 6:00 and 7:00 am they walk around the village from house
to house.
People come out of their houses and graciously offer them food .
Later
they do walking meditation, and eat one more time at 11:00 AM. The afternoons
are spent cleaning the monastery.
At 5:00 pm they gather for non alcoholic drinks.
The evening is spent with more chores and more meditation.
The Monks are the most respected people in Thailand, second only to the Thai King.
This page will be updated on a regular basis so I can share more of my pictures
