I've just finished reading your ebook "The Truth About Reiki". I must say, the version of reiki you describe is tremendously different than the one familiar to me! In particular, I wonder where you got the idea that reiki "attunement" is a matter of being connected to the personal energy of one's teacher; nothing could be farther from the truth! If your teacher made
such a connection with you, that was definitely her own doing, and not a part of Usui Reiki.

I find it also very strange that you say, "attunement to reiki is a spell that needs to be removed" -- and yet you advertise yourself as still being certified in reiki, and you claim to be teaching reiki to others!!

Based on the information on your website, I can only say that whatever you're teaching is certainly NOT reiki, and I wish you wouldn't call it that. You are doing a disservice both to genuine Usui Reiki and to your
students.

I stumbled upon your site and wonder if you've learned anything new about Reiki since you wrote your pages. If you HAVE learned anything new, I wonder when you'll get around to correcting yourself on your site. As it stands, your info seems biased and self serving, and is absolutely ignorant of any Truth concerning Reiki.

I scanned just a small section when I figured I saw all I needed to see. But that segment begs these questions:

Do you still understand Usui Sensei to have been a christian doctor?

Do you still think that an attunement 'hooks' you to your master and everyone who went before him or her in his/her Reiki lineage?

Do you still associate with the 'crystal healer' who led you to think that?

Do you still speak irreverantly of Hayashi Sensei's death?

Have you considered the karmic debt one may incur by promoting ridiculous but nevertheless harmful information about Reiki?

Lets start with your answers to these questions, then I'll give you another set. They get harder, so brace yourself.

Firstly, we all know how 'aura cameras' work.

Secondly, you indicate that the first pic was taken in 1989, the second was 1992, and the third was 2000. That's a span of 11 years. But her hair is the same
in each picture, she doesn't age, and SHE'S WEARING THE SAME BLOUSE IN ALL THREE PICTURES.

You're definitely mentally ill.

I find your article 'the Truth about Reiki" so distorted in its message

and misinformation as to be irresponsible for someone who claims to be

a healer.

I have no idea who your teacher was. This experience is unique to you.

It has nothing to do with my experiences as a student or a a teacher.

It maligns the good names of all of us who have worked very hard over

this and many lifetimes to bring authentic healing energy into a

troubled world.

You really ought to examine your conscience...why you would put out

this kind of information on the web.

Let me first introduce myself. I am Shelly Mayer from Manitoba Canada. I am

also a Reiki Teacher, and Complementary Therapist. My intention for this

email is to ask you look into or read some more on the subject before making

such damaging comments.

I have read your comments on your experience with taking Reiki 1st Degree

class. Let me just say, I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. Could

have been your teacher or it could have been your perception of what was

happening.

But I think having said that, you have been missed informed about the

attunement process and what happens. Reiki isn't about the teacher and the

student. It is about the student and something greater then the teacher.

There is no hooking as you described it, etherically or otherwise. There is

no transference of problems or anything else in true Reiki other then a

connection to Universal Loving Energy.

I agree is some rare casses some people can connect to Reiki themselves, but

that is a rarity and not the norm in this day and age to have such an

enlightened person who can go beyond their own humanity and be in touch

completley.

The history you described in all my reading and research I have never heard

of Dr. Hayashi killing himself.

I ask you to look beyond ego and step away from your experience.

Could you be mistaken in what you feel about this?

Could the distrust be about your connection with the teacher who taught you

first degree and not about Reiki itself?

Even though I do not know who you are and where you are from I’ll give you the information you asked for.

 

It is not a secret that the Universe has been going through tremendous changes which has not been completed as of yet. The biggest change was happening in winter of 2003/2004. I surely did feel that a lot.

 

Before the change our aura had 7 layers or you can say 7 auras which were in layers. The layers were result of the Sephirot of the “Kabala’s Tree Of Life”. Look at the Tree on my web click on Kabala. The 1^st ,2^nd and 3^rd layers(closest to the body) were determined by Sephirot - Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth. The 4^th and 5^th Auric layer come from Chesed, Geburah and Tipharet. The 6^th and 7^th layer were result of Kether, Chokmah and Binah. That is why the aura is often refer to as there would be 3 major layers.

 

Now because of the big change there is no longer layers but it is one big layer which has 9 colors that are kind of in layers but it can not be referred to it that way. If you red my e-book “A Light Being That Is Human” (if you did not I suggest you do so) you would know that color is a vibration.

 

What happened in the Universe is that the separation between the original creation and the rest of the creation is dissolved. If you look at the “Tree” on my home page you can see a fogy like wave at the throat area it is the place of Daath. That was the separation. Daath was an abyss that needed to be crossed with great caution. At this point Daath is no longer that way. It is more like an open highway. It means if we can accept it we can be in oneness now.

 

At this point it is hard to honestly say how much the Universe has changed, not until all the changes are completed.

I don't know who your Reiki Master/Teacher was, nor do I care.I do care about Reiki though. I have been a Reiki Master for years, and have never attached my Crown Chakra to anyone elses, or vice versa. Reiki Energy is utilized for the highest healing good. You do not attach yourself physically or metaphysically to anyone elses psyche/mind/vibrational level etc...Many Reiki Practitioners do Prayers of Protection, surround themselves with white healing light, and many wear Vogel Crystals to ward off any negativity.

 

I really think that you need to do a little more research on Reiki, and all the aspects surrounding it. Read Diane Steins book Essential Reiki, it's a good start. And maybe take another class with a different teacher. There is nothing mystical about Reiki, it is from the universe for all of the universe to take part of.
